The MCR-755 effortlessly reproduces superb sound quality tuned for European taste, with smooth response that is a constant pleasure to listen to. The sound has a rich expansiveness, supported by a strong bass foundation. From the resonance of a contrabass to the sweet highs of female vocals, this is sound that repays close listening.
Digital Amp with a Lush Analogue Feel
Clean, efficient power is supplied by a 30W x 30W low-noise digital amplifier. The use of a high-grade lowpass filter enables a rich analogue-type sound that never seems forced.
Sound Tuning Performed in Europe
Rather than simply modifying a previous model, the Yamaha speaker design team designed this speaker from the ground up, creating a truly high-grade HiFi speaker. They then took it to Europe for final sound tuning.

While the design is unique, the two-way, bass-reflex speaker incorporates a number of the advanced construction techniques used for Yamaha’s high-end Soavo series. The cabinet features precision assembly of the baffle and body, with 6-point reinforcement for high stiffness.
Fast Sound Attack, Highly Detailed Sound
The speakers do not have magnetic shielding, which tends to reduce the speed of initial sound attack, while the voice coil, network and other key components were selected for high performance with minimal size. All sounds, including bass, are crisp, clear and highly detailed.
Deeper, Strongly Bonded Cabinet
The cabinet depth is greater than Yamaha’s previous compact speakers, improving bass output capability. Bonding is done with the same materials and techniques used for Yamaha’s wooden musical instruments.
Strong, Resonant Cabinet with Three Feet
The overall strength of the cabinet as well as its resonant properties owe a great deal to the construction methods used for Yamaha violins and guitars, known for their rich sound quality. Three feet in a triangle pattern improve stability and vibration damping.

The MCR-755 is fully compatible with Blu-ray 3D™, so you can play these new discs and enjoy eye-popping 3D video on your 3D TV.
HDMI with 3D and ARC
HDMI input terminals offer convenient one-cable connection of HD digital sources. HDMI also includes 3D protocols for enjoying 3D video sources, and ARC (Audio Return Channel), which means you do not need an extra optical cable to hear the sound from the TV.
